Acqua di Giò Profondo Perfume by Giorgio Armani is the intense marine interpretation of Acqua di Giò. More than a fragrance, Aqua di Giò Profondo is a captivating deep-dive into the profoundness of the soul, embracing the values of freedom, sensoriality and modern masculinity, revealing an ever more profound dimension.

Like taking a plunge into the deep blue sea, senses are awakened by green mandarin and bergamot while an ultramarine, nearly icy hue is conveyed by Acqua di Giò’s iconic marine notes. As the bubbles of oxygen rise to the top, the rosemary, lavender, cypress and lentisk absolute blend at its heart. Exuding a masculine character of depth and intensity, notes of woody patchouli and enveloping musk finally fuse with the saline accent of a mineral ambery accord at the base.

Created by master perfumer Alberto Morillas, Acqua di Giò Profondo is encapsulated in the emblematic frosted glass bottle in an elegant, almost opaque deep navy blue, echoing the sea depths it captures.

It will let you experience what it feels like when rough volcanic rock is fused with salt water from the depths of the ocean. This sophisticated and strongly masculine fragrance will transport you to the Mediterranean coast, where the sea meets the hard cliffs, immersing your body in an intense mineral freshness.

Initially, you will be able to smell notes of fresh, sweet bergamot and sea accords which will make you feel exceptionally masculine. These intoxicating scents are then joined by two herbs – sage and rosemary. The intense experience is completed with base notes of patchouli and incense that create a long-lasting fragrant trail.

The Armani Acqua di Giò Profumo Eau de Parfum adds to the success of its predecessor Acqua di Giò from 1996. The new version of the fragrance was created in 2015 by the Spanish perfumer Alberto Morillas. The face of its campaign is Jason Morgan.

It was launched in 2020.
