Echoing life’s most vivid and celebrated experiences shaped by moments of tribulation and strength, Silver Oud is an olfactive depiction of Stendhal’s 19th-century French novel, The Red and the Black, and its intelligent and ambitious protagonist, Julien Sorel. Paying tribute to the House’s signature storytelling tradition, Cecile Zorakian brings Silver Oud to life in a woody ambery Eau de Parfum that showcases the most precious Oud in all its glory.

Composition of the fragrance

First, your senses will be stunned and confused by the earthy notes of cypriol, patchouli and cedar. Next you’ll experience the heart of this opulent Eau de Parfum – the marriage of rich agarwood and warming Madagascan vanilla, which together create a refined and appealing contrast. In the base notes, this fragrance hides all its secrets in the form of sweet, woody castoreum, birch, amber and guaiac wood.
